主讲人简介：Professor and holder of Canada Research Chair (Tier-II) in Neurodegenerative Diseases, Departments of Medicine and Psychiatry, Centre for Prions and Protein Folding Diseases, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada; Member of the grant review panels: Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation; Ad hoc reviewer of Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Pacific Alzheimer Research Foundation and Alzheimer Association of USA; Ad hoc reviewer of J. Neurochemistry, Neurobiology of Aging and BBA-General subjects; Organizer of a symposium entitled “Recent developments in Alzheimer’s Disease pathology: basic and clinical advances” at the 30th Annual Meeting of the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology held in Banff, Alberta 2007.
