Generally international students are required to pay tuition fees for their study unless another agreement has been arranged. We offer two forms of international scholarships, International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) and Deakin University International Research Scholarships (DUIRS). Both of these scholarships can be applied for in the same round and are awarded based on academic merit. Students are required to hold a first class honours or equivalent to first class honours degree. Both scholarships provide a stipend, the overseas health cover premium and cover tuition fees. Students are required to study full-time on campus and satisfy English language requirements. We hold one scholarship round each year which closes 30 September for students commencing by 30 September the following year.
