报告人简介:
Dr. Staudinger received his B.S (Biology) from Nebraska Wesleyan University and Ph.D. (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) with Dr. Eric Olson from University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Science. He received further postdoctoral training at the Nuclear Receptor Group of GlaxoWellcome and as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Experimental Therapeutics, University of Kansas Medical Center. He joined The University of Kansas as a faculty member since 2001. Staudinger lab is interested in basic regulatory mechanisms in toxicology. They work primarily with mice and tissue culture as model systems to investigate two major questions. (1) What role do ligand-activated transcription factors play in regulating xenobiotic homeostasis? (2) What signal transduction pathways interface with ligand-activated transcription factors in mediating xenobiotic homeostasis? Dr. Staudinger has published many papers in top journals such as Cell, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, J Biol Chem, J. Pharmacol. Exp. Ther, and Drug Metab Dispos.
