报告人简介：

Wladek Minor博士，美国弗吉尼亚大学医学院教授，国际著名的结构生物学家。Minor教授主要通过X射线衍射、物理和生化方法深入研究大分子结构与功能关系，尤其专注于两大主题:具有重要生理/药理作用靶标的结构生物学研究和晶体方法学的发展。一方面，他研究的大分子大多涉及一个或几个大的生物领域，如细胞信号转导和金属蛋白。另一方面，他发展多种晶体学方法，包括其发明的蛋白晶体衍射数据收集软件HKL2000，已通用于国际上主要的同步辐射光源中心。

Minor教授在Nature、Cancer Cell、Accounts of Chemical Research、Nature Methods、Nature Structural & Molecular Biology、Blood、Current Opinion in Structural Biology、Nucleic Acids Research等国际著名期刊上发表论文140余篇，平均引用率186次，其中一篇代表性论文（Processing of X-ray diffraction data collected in oscillation mode. Methods in Enzymology 1997）已被SCI收录超过2.3万次。Minor教授的研究团队，已向世界著名的生物大分子晶体库提交超过1000个晶体结构，提供给其他研究者进行研究。
