Introduction to the speaker:

Yao Sheng Tu, Professor of TCM Engineering and Technology Research Institute of Guangdong province and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has been engaged in scientific research and production practice about traditional Chinese medicine as well as management of hospital of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 30 years.He is skillful in combining traditional Chinese medicine knowledge, applying domestic and international new technology and theory into innovation research and transformation of scientific and technological achievement in traditional Chinese medicine field.

Professor Yao-Sheng Tu is one of the founders about Chinese medicinal granula project. He firstly put forward a general idea about the Chinese medicinal granula project at home in 1992, established Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, organized professional team of Chinese medicinal granula. In addition, He has been supervised 21 scientific projects, carried out a lot of research work on the key technology of industrialization of Chinese medicinal granula, proposed new thought and technology about quality standard research of Chinese medicinal granula, constructed a quality standard system of Chinese medicinal granula. Furthermore, he conducted domestic and international academic exchanges and exploited domestic and international markets including Europe and America, Australia and Southeast Asia, created significant economic and social benefits. Professor Yao-Sheng Tu has acquired many science and technology achievement awards because of the Chinese medicinal granula project. He won second prize of 2011 annual national scientific and technological progress "The industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine formula particles key technology research and application" for his excellent work.
