Introduction to the speaker:
Dr. Xiao, winner of national outstanding youth science fund, services as the doctoral supervisor and director in the PLA institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Center, the People's Liberation Army 302 Hospital. He also is the leader of the key discipline of clinical Chinese materia medica, State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Xiao is the executive director of the Association of Chinese Medicine, the Chairman of Chinese medicine branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the editor of more than ten domestic and foreign journals. He has won many awards, such as the first session of China's top ten outstanding youth in Chinese Medicine,the first batch of the leading talent of Science and Technology in the army.
Dr. Xiao is a famous expert in the field of Authentication of Chinese Medicine and Clinical science of Chinese materia medica, the chief editor of The research of key scientific problems in TCM in Translational Medicine(1-3) , and also has published more than 300 papers in PLoS ONE, SCIENCE CHINA，e,al. Besides, he has developed 5 kinds of innovation medicine for the treatment of liver diseases, obtained one national drug certificate, four new medicine clinical approvals and 20 patents in the domestic and overseas. As the first completed person, he has won two times of the National Scientific and Technological Progress second prize.
